Orange Marine contacted THALOS for its cable ships fleet. Subject to various out-of-bundle expenses, mainly due to email traffic, the company was looking for a reliable backup satellite communication and connectivity solution, providing both data flow management and cost control.

• Offer a satellite communication back up service that fits with Cable vessels’ needs and constraints.


• Configure the on-board networks and install an OceanBox with tailor-made features: high compression rate on emails, restricted usages on the backup link, accurate management of both costs and data flow through a dedicated interface, daily consumption reports and traffic alerts.
