The XXVII National Congress of Family Businesses has concluded after two days of enriching sessions, where more than 650 representatives from family businesses came together to exchange ideas and perspectives on the future of the sector.
The closing ceremony was attended by His Majesty King Felipe VI, who highlighted the importance of promoting innovation, social commitment, and responsible leadership within this business model. The President of Cantabria, María José Sáenz de Buruaga, and the Minister of Inclusion, Social Security, and Migration, Elma Saiz, also spoke, emphasizing the significance of these businesses in the country’s economic development. Additionally, Ignacio Rivera, President of the Family Business Institute, stressed the importance of maintaining optimism in the face of a future filled with challenges.
As a family business, Grupo Arbulu plays a key role in the national and international economic growth of the maritime sector, contributing to job creation, innovation, and investment in strategic projects.
